These terms apply to your use of Timeyard, a free online tool for converting dates between the Gregorian (Miladi) calendar and the Iranian Solar Hijri (Shamsi or Jalali) calendar. By using the site, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the tool.

What the tool is

Timeyard is an informational date converter. It runs entirely in your browser, performs its conversions locally with no server and no network call for the conversion itself, and can work offline after your first visit. There is no account, no sign-in, and nothing to buy. It is provided free of charge for personal and everyday reference use.

Acceptable use

You may use the converter for any lawful purpose, including converting birthdays, document dates, and historical dates. In return, you agree not to:

• use the tool for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law or regulation;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the site, its hosting, or its availability to others;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying systems;
• misrepresent the tool as your own product, or imply that the maintainer endorses your use of it; or
• remove, obscure, or alter any notices on the site.

You are responsible for the dates you enter and for how you use the results.

Accuracy and disclaimer

We take accuracy seriously. Conversions are computed with a well-established calendar method and are cross-checked against your browser's built-in Persian calendar, and the tool covers Jalali years 1 to 1700 and Gregorian years 622 to 2322. Even so, the tool is provided "as is" and results are offered for general information only. For any critical or official purpose — legal documents, immigration or visa paperwork, contracts, medical records, or anything where a wrong date has consequences — you should verify the converted date independently against an authoritative source. We do not guarantee that every result is correct for your particular use, and you should not treat the output as an official or certified conversion.

No warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the tool will be uninterrupted, error-free, available at all times, free of harmful components, or fit for any particular purpose. Your use of the tool is at your own risk.
